2011 Pepin County Achievement Program
To kick off National 4-H Week Pepin County’s 4-H held their Achievement Program at Arkansaw Elementary School. Mistress of Ceremonies were members of the Pepin County Senior Youth Council Ellie Raethke and Marrissa Haglund. Approximately 100 4-H members, parents, leaders and friends attended the program.
Receiving the 4-H SYC (Senior Youth Council) award was Jordan Gilles, and Ryan Prom. They participated in many Senior Youth Council activities which earned them this award.
The 2011 Pepin County Special Emphasis trophy was presented to Lima Lads & Lassies and Chippewa 4-H Clubs for their work and community services done in Pepin County.
Cori Terpstra from the Chippewa 4-H Club received the Top Secretary’s award for keeping very good minutes and records for their 4-H club.
4-H Global Awareness Trip report was given by Clay Peterson, son of Chad and Sarah Peterson. He talked about his stay at the Howell Nature Center in Michigan.

In its second year the Pepin County 4-H Warren Walters Dairy 4-H Award. The deserving recipient of this award was Ellie Raethke, daughter of Lisa and Chuck Raethke and a member of the Chippewa 4–H Club. Mary Ellen Walters Brue and Don Walters presented the award.
The following member received the 2009-2010 4-H Club Activity Award Luke Pelke, Nathan Iverson, Brett Pelke, Stephanie Brantner, Corrine Terpstra, Rachel Seifert, Laura Glander and Lacy Quinton.
2010-2011 4-H Outstanding Members based on their record books were: Erin Seifert, Laura Glander, Rachel Seifert, Stephanie Brantner, Sarah Heck, and Brianna Hass.
